DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT SERVICES:
In the endocrine surgery department conditions like thyroid diseases (Goiter, hypothyroid, hyperthyroid, Graves disease, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancers), parathyroid diseases ( hyperthyroid, hypothyroid, parathyroid gland cancers), surgical endocrine diseases of the pancreas (insulinoma, gastrinoma, glucagonoma, VIPoma, Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, carcinoid syndrome) and adrenal gland diseases ( Cushing Syndrome, Addison Syndrome, Feochromositoma, insidentaloma, adrenocortical cancers) are assessed and treated by general surgery and endocrinology specialists.

While utilizing current technology devices during operations, constant recurrent nerve monitoring to prevent voice loss in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, special tissue cutting and closing devices and tools to cover vascular structures are used. Adrenal gland and pancreas gland tumor surgeries are done laparoscopically.
The radiology and nuclear medicine departments are cooperated with during the diagnosis stage and interventional procedures are performed when necessary. Patients diagnosed with cancer are evaluated by the board comprised of specialists and their oncology treatment is planned accordingly.
