Obesity is a disease that affects several organs of the human body. Therefore, treatment for obesity must be planned and implemented within the scope of a multi-disciplinary approach, where multiple medical branches work in collaboration. Flash CT is a highly technological radiological diagnostic tool which allows whole body imaging particularly for cardiac and pulmonary screening purposes, in less than 4 seconds, using 80% less radiation. The Flash CT can perform a cardiac angiography scan in 0.25 seconds, protecting the patient from excess radiation during scanning. A scan of the chest cavity takes about 0.6 seconds to complete, and the patients no longer need to hold their breath.
With a diameter of 78cm., the Flash CT is ideal for patients with claustrophobia or obese patients. Rapid imaging capability of the Flash CT allows quick scanning of pediatric patients and trauma patients, helping with timely intervention.
DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY WITH TOMOSYNTHESIS
This is a mammography device that provides excellent 2D and 3D image quality with the minimum required dose of radiation.
With its two dimensional and multi slice three dimensional tomosynthetic imaging capacity, the device offers groundbreaking possibilities in the early diagnosis of cancer.
The thomosynthesis slices obtained through the device provide a higher diagnostic reliability. A series of digital images of the breast, taken in the form of thin layers, are subsequently assembled to produce a 3-dimensional image of the breast.
Unlike mammograms, which offer only a single image of the entire breast, all tissue-related problems can be examined from multiple digital images of the breast, in the form of thin layers.
This eliminates the problem of hidden problematic areas, causing breast cancer to be “missed”.
Developed by NASA to enable surgeons on earth to operate on astronauts in space, the ‘da VINCI’ robot, operates through micro incisions and enables 3 dimensional imaging. Thus, even the most difficult operations are performed with ease. The robot only requires a physician who guides it through a console located outside of the operational zone.
It is used in several areas; primarily urology, cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, ear-nose and throat and gynecology.
