Occupational Physicians have certificates approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. They work in cooperation with the occupational safety specialists in order to comply with international laws and regulations for improving the health and safety conditions in workplaces.
The main roles of the Occupational Physicians are the registering medical observations in the workplace and related studies, controlling if the legal obligations of the company are fulfilled, making sure that the medical applications and examinations are performed, conducting the initial and periodic examinations, preparing the health reports, taking part in the Commission for Health and Safety in Workplace and in the inspections.
As the working hours of occupational physicians depend on the number of workers, they can work part time or full time. As per their roles, they closely follow the laws and regulations in relation with the workplaces.
